Style 2005 Actifit® cut-resistant gloves are the light weight, flexible, and a provide dexterity and tactile feel. Applications include warehouse and fulfillment centers where dexterity and a positive grip are required to handle multiple parts and objects and knives may be used to cut cartons open. Style 2010 is a fully coated 10 inch cut-resistant glove(A4) designed for use in liquid applications where dexterity and a good grip are needed. Applications include engine assembly, machining of aircraft parts, and small sheet metal assembly in areas with plentiful lubricants where increased dexterity is required. Both gloves are nitrile coated on ArmorPlate®. ArmorPlate® is non-conductive and non-friable so it is an excellent replacement for the stainless steel and glass components found in other gloves. Due to their tacky grip, these gloves are not recommended for use when turning nuts, bolts, or screws with a power tool as this can result in a "wrap-up". These gloves are made with a synthetic yarn, so they should not be used near heat or open flame. Nitrile coatings can become slippery in water-based solutions. Both Actifit® gloves should be edge-tested prior to approval for use.
